Art Deco Of The 1920′S
Which are better quality, applicances of yesteryear or those of today?
I have a couple of old small appliances from the 1920′s-1930′s (Toaster, hair dryer,space heater, electric kettle stove) in my house, and in all the time I have never had one break down once, and these things are beautifully made in art deco style and have lasted 70-80 years. On the flip side, I have had expensive hair dryers, toasters etc that have given out after a year or two. What do you think is better quality, does anyone else use vintage applicances?
Deffinatly the old stuff is better, I have a vintage kitchen as well, and all of the stuff has last 50 years +
