Art Deco Chairs
Many people are under the impression that dining chairs need to be used at a dining room table. This is just not right. Some of the modern chairs that can be found today can be used in just about any room. A good room for these chairs is the sitting room.
No longer are chair manufacturers making dining chairs that are straight backed with slats that were so common decades ago. Some of these modern dining chairs are actually lovely enough to be pieces of art. Why would someone hide a piece of art such as modern dining chairs under a table where they cannot be seen?
Instead, use a modern chair in the sitting room as either a conversation piece or extra seating when there is company. These chairs can be purchased one at a time or can be purchased in pairs. They make a great statement when put on either side of a piece of modern art or an art deco table. It is easy to purchase this type of chair to match any art deco pieces that you have.
Not only can they be used in the sitting room, but they can add a great compliment to a bedroom or office as well. A nice white chair is a great choice for a light and airy bedroom. A dark leather chair can make an office seem more welcoming. It can also offer a guest a place to sit while chatting in the office.
Do not think that modern chairs only need to be used in a dining room. There are so many other ways that they can be utilized. Some are made to look like modern pieces of art that should not be shoved under a dining table. The look of a sitting room, bedroom or office can be made to look better when one is added for extra seating.
